Open Rhinoplasty

This procedure is performed to correct and reshape a person’s nose. In most cases, it is used to correct a deviated or crooked nose, reduce the size of the nose, or improve the shape of the nose. Open rhinoplasty is performed using incisions on the skin of the nose, while closed rhinoplasty is done through holes in the nasal bones. This type of surgery is often recommended for those who have a condition called rhinitis, which is inflammation of the nose. It may also be recommended for those who have a large or crooked nose, a deviated septum, or other physical attributes that they wish to change.

Closed Rhinoplasty

Closed rhinoplasty relies on cutting open the nasal passages to access the internal structure of the nose. It is a surgical procedure used to reshape and/or resculpt the nose for cosmetic and/or functional purposes. It is usually recommended for people with a bump on their nose, an asymmetrical nose, a crooked nose, or a large nose. The procedure can correct a variety of physical and mental issues, including a deviated septum, difficulty breathing, and a negative self-image.

Revision Rhinoplasty

A rhinoplasty revision can correct any problems such as an unnatural tip, asymmetry, an uncomfortable profile, etc. It is also performed in order to correct any issues that may have arisen from a previous surgery such as an infection or an unsuitably large reduction.

Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty

Some may benefit from non-surgical rhinoplasty, such as those who have a deviated septum or other nasal issues. Dr. Hussain will examine your nose and decide which type of rhinoplasty is best for you. You may need to have both surgical and non-surgical rhinoplasty if your nose is severely deviated or if you have an under-projected tip. Depending on your situation, rhinoplasty may be done as an outpatient procedure or as inpatient surgery.
